Sp1 is not installing for me

    sp1 exe file failed to install offline


    e_fail(0x80004005) was the error i got.

    Finished reinstalling windows 7.Now updating using windows update.

    gonna try install sp1 now.

    Solved my problem


    Searched around for any threads with solved cases on numerous forums.found one that the user was advised to do a repair install of windows 7 then to install sp1. and it had worked.
    So i did the following 1: Repair install windows 7 using your seven forums tutorial.
    2: Update all updates needed using windows update.
    3: Installed Sp1 using windows update.
    Result Success now using Windows 7 Sp1 as my Os
