Can't update Windows 7 x64 Service Pack 1, or Windows Live Ess. 2011

Ever since Windows asked me to update to Windows Live Essentials 2011, it has always failed and given me this error: http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/w...ththiscrap.png

Click the link, it's a picture of the error I get EVERY time I try to update WinLive essentials 2011. Because of this, I haven't been able to use Messenger, Movie Maker or Picture Viewer since this error. Please help, I have looked online for so long to a solution but it will not work. Should I reinstall Windows 7?

Also, here is the error screenshot of Windows 7 SP 1 I get: http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/w...pleasehelp.png

    Please help, thanks.

Well... Uninstall Windows Essentials completely from the computer... Reboot.

for the windows update... CRC is when a file doesn't match or in other words.. corrupted.

    For your Windows Update:
Take a wack at these steps... see if they do anything for you....

Thank you for your reply, but look! http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/w...veprograms.png

WL Essentials is nowhere to be found on the programs list. Windows Live Upload tool has been stuck there ever since the problem started, but it's stuck there. Also, I searched in my C: for anything with "Windows Live" in the title. I found any of those files and deleted them, because I thought maybe clearing out everything of Windows Live on my computer would make it work. But it still doesn't.
