Did you do an upgrade or a clean install to Windows 7 Professional x64 ?
It was an upgrade. I thought that upgrading from Home Premium to Professional would somehow make the SP1 update appear, but it didn't.

Make sure you have the latest driver for your computer's graphic card, in this case-- ATI.

That is to say, I updated my graphic card driver and it showed up. I never seen SP1 listed when I used old 2009 display drivers.

I checked my Laptop's manufacturer website and the driver they have there is the one i have installed but i went to ATI's website anyway to double-check.

I found a new version of the catalyst control center which i installed.
The setup showed me a list of things that would be updated and showed my graphics driver as up-to-date. The only things updated were the control center itself and Microsoft Visual C++.

I restarted my system and checked for updates in WU, just to have the usual "Windows is up to date message".
