    Mistake?

I would check with MS concerning the key before I did anything else.

    Contact the seller,
If the do not handle the situation,
    Contact Amazon,
    After Contacting Amazon,
    Contact Microsoft,
    Explain the situation.

They will tell you that you did not buy from an authorized retailer and such forth.
After that they will either give you a key, or tell you your SOL, then pursue the dealer.

    Hello!

I am really sorry that you have been through this experience.

Can you also please make a report to Microsoft directly.

You can find out information on to reporting procedure here: Protect Yourself from Piracy

The online form would be my first choice.

Also, you can read more on their Piracy microsite here: Protect Yourself from Piracy

    Thanks a lot!

Thanks mate he has said he has giving me a full refund, but i won't know for 5 days. He said it's his suppliers fault and Microsoft as well. Just have to wait and see but don't buy off him for a couple of weeks till he gets his new batch in.

Is it a TechNet key? This would be proof of fraud.

More here: Blocked Keys (Was EBAY Keys)

Would be interesting to hear his explanation - seller should be dumped by Amazon unless it's good.
