    Typing in slui.exe 4 to try form the other page pops up an error, "system cannot find the path specified"

    The main probably i have is i have no where to enter the key even by phone.

    That doesn't matter. That happens sometimes. Just keep ploughing (plowing) on with the instructions. Good luck!

    As a suggestion, you may have better luck using the Built In Admin Account then trying the above suggestions.

    Do everything down to slui.exe and still get the error followed by my background crashing.

    Thats OK, not a problem.

    The only other thing I can think of is run a sfc scan. If licensing files including slui are corrupted (path not found error etc.), that might fix them.

    It found corruptedfiles but wasn't able to fix them.

    Which files were corrupted?

    I think you're heading for a repair install or a fresh install. But before that have you tried activating by phone? I linked the tut in an earlier post.

    Not sure when tried to make a file on the desktop it wouldn't work. Don't think i can by phone i can't get the window that has the number to call or enter the code they would have giving me.
