I have suddenly developed a rash of applications failing to launch due to a "Missing MSXML4" file. A file search verified that it is present in the "Sys/WOW64" folder so I presume that it is somehow corrupted.
What is the best way to repair or replace this?
Hi,
I hope I'm posting in the proper section of this forum.
My issue concerns MSXML parser v4.
I have a program bglcomp.exe provided my MS to compile flight simulator sceneries. That program uses the MSXML4.DLL to compile xml files into bgl files.
It works fine on my XP machine, works...
So I installed Rise of Nations (old favourite) but it crashes soon after startup. I get this error:
79695
The msxml4.dll is there so I tried to manually register it by Start ---> Run ---> regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\msxml4.dll but then I get this error:
79696
Please help
