    I've uploaded a file - hmraa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder hmraa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it ( Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

CheckSUR fixed the error this time around

If we're lucky, Windows Update will work now.

Yes Internet Explorer was installed immediately and two updates for it were successfully installed as well however i'm still having a problem with

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2853952)
    Error Code: 8007065E

I tried installing both separate and together still same error code

A full reset of the SD folder is indicated, in that case....
you will lose your Update history (but the updates will still be installed, and viewable in the Installed Updates listing).

    Open an Elevated Command Prompt
    Run the following commands

    NET STOP WUAUSERV
    REN C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution SDOLD
    NET START WUAUSERV

    wait15 minutes, and reboot

then wait 10 minutes, and open Windows Updates, and run a Check for Updates.

Install only the oldest update found - and reboot once installed

then go back to Windows updates and install the others.

By both i was referring to the updates for Internet Explorer and the update for Windows 7, I just meant I tried installing them together at first and got an error then tried installing the Update separately and got the same error.

Having a problem with the second line of the command prompt.
    REN C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution SDOLD

I'm getting back "The System cannot find the specified folder"

Guessing that's not supposed to happen ?

Hmm - please reboot and then open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands...

    DIR C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
    ICACLS C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
    DIR C:\Windows\SDOLD

    Post the results.

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.
