SP1 Fail

    SP1 Fail


    Service pack 1 fails to install due to error and 1 fix is to run upgrade again as you describe but this stops also.

    Is there a tool to fix ? I've tried MS Installer preparation tool

    This looks like a serious issue. Take a look at:

    Based upon this article, it apprears that you may have an unrecoverable issue.

    You need to make a new thread here> Windows Updates & Activation - Windows 7 Forums

    Just copy and paste the info over.

    Then one of the specialist can help you with that problem.
    Niemiro or Mowgreen are more likely to see it posted there.

    Niemiro is away until July 23 (last I heard from him) and he's without internet access. Mow hasn't been too active the past week or so, or not that I've noticed. So it may take a while for Niemiro to catch up.
