How do I get Windows Update to stop prompting me to install IE9 ?

I'm staying on IE 8 because of IE 9's lack of a search box. The problem I'm having is that every time I bring up my machine, I get a Windows Update message informing me that I have a critical update to install - the update is IE 9. Each day I uncheck the selection and don't install IE 9. How do I get Windows Update to stop prompting me to install IE 9. Thanks.

    egertz

Here you go.> Windows Update - Hide or Restore Hidden Updates

Step by step instructions with pictures.
If you decide to install IE9 later you just restore.

    You are welcome.

The good part is you can always restore and install if you wish later.
