That is excellent news! Truly excellent!

That is a very strange error code. Presumably you have already installed any available updates for the game?

The service pack 1 contains .NET framework 3.5?
Windows 7 now comes with .net Framework 3.5.1 as standard (SP1 is irrelevant) so that is not the problem.

What anti-virus / firewall / "security suite" are you using?

This can't hurt but may help.
In the command promtp/run as admin. Type in sfc /scannow
This will check and or repair system files if it can. If it finds errors run it a couple more times. Some times when it finds errors it can't fix them all with one run.

Uninstall AVG. Install MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) Link in my sig.

Here's a link to remove your AVG.

Download tools and utilities | AVG Worldwide
