    there seems to be a lot of hits on google for this error code too many for me to check so i give you the link and we can share the load.

    from what i have read so far there is a few solutions so i guess you have to go through the steps one by one.
    this page here looks interesting but a lot of procedures,

    not something i know about so ,i think maybe wait for someone more informed to come along.

    are you telling me that you cant load the google link neimiro .
    it is for google .co.uk .
    in the address bar of your browser change the .co.uk to .com and it should load.

    Oh no! I am sorry! I really *should* have given an explanation. All I actually meant was that the OP's error code 0x80244018 maps to SUS_E_PT_HTTP_STATUS_FORBIDDED, or the equivalent which most people are more used to: "Http status 403 - request forbidden". I was literally giving the OP's error code mapping.
