I got 13 updates at all, being 9 from Office 2010, 2 from Win7 x64, the Malicious SRT of Sept 2011 and the daily MSE definition update.

    Hi,

My computer auto-updated @ 6am and when i got back home it was completely frozen.
After i rebooted the computer is only "available" for 1min or so after that it simply hangs and i get a pop-up saying Windows is not responding and asking me if i want to Force close or wait.
If i wait the screen refreshes a bit after 5minutes or so but then hangs again.
If i force close then i only get my desktop background and mouse, nothing else works.

    What i tried:
Went into safe mode (everything seems fine here), and deactivated EVERY startup program i had.
    Didn't do the trick

Put win7 cd in and on the repair menu i tried to select the rollback point
Again it didn't do the trick.

Later when i get home im going to try and start to uninstall the fixes and everything i get my hands on!
And i'm going to deactivate the auto-update from windows!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

I use the pc essentially with oracle Virtualbox to develop some stuff at home and to browse the web.
Virtualbox, Firefox, Comodo Firewall, Netlimiter 3, some Logitech device drivers, skype, msn and some other stuff i don't recall where running when it updated.

If you have any ideas please feel free to share them with me.
