What UPDATES are SAFE to UNINSTALL in Windows7HB 32bit

'windows installs alot of updates and these updates re too big in size, and i don't know what are the functions of this updates. It only emphasize that it is IMPORTANT and i can;t understand it. I have no choice but to install the update because it is said important. so, are these really important?

Updates keep your system secure, if they say Important, that's what they mean.

Optional updates are the ones you decide if you want or not, Personally, I install all

the critical, important updates, review the recommended updates and usually install

those as well. There is a good reason for them, just let them be, you're not going

to gain very much space by uninstalling them.

I would leave any installed updates alone. Microsoft put them there for a reason, and if Windows update pulled it down then it is needed for your computer...whether you understand why they are needed or not.

You can actually browse to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete everything inside that folder. Windows downloads the updates there before it installs them, but doesn't delete the downloads after installation is finished.
