I couldn't swear to it - but I think that may be a validation failure.
does your machine pass MS Validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate ?

If not, To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
    - **in your own thread**, please

    hostelo,
    FYI...
    On researching this was found.

This is a genuine Microsoft update. It is Microsoft Security Essentials and is only offered for systems which do not appear to have a working antivirus program installed.
Microsoft Security Essentials is offered as an optional update

The house icon is used by Microsoft Security Essentials. It should be green when running normally. Red indicates a problem. You can see what it is by double-clicking the icon.

If you think you have another anti-virus program running, installing Microsoft Security Essentials may cause problems. You should not install it in that case.
