No problems - it's easy to miss things in the flurry of troubleshooting :)
There's nothing wrong with either MBAM or SAS - so long as you don't have them running real-time in the background at the same time as MSE. I routinely install MBAM and MSE on all computers I come into contact with, unless told otherwise, and never have a problem - but I use the free version, and don't activate the Real-time Protection offer.
Like you, I rely on the Windows Firewall - which is quite good enough for 99% of users (and most of the rest should probably be either supervised or behind bars<g>)

Let's hope the settings 'stick' this time!

Thanks for getting back to me. Lets hope things stay as they should. My understanding is that MAM paid for version runs very well active with MSE. I have tested their trail version active with my other computers and had no problems. I only have the free one stand alone on this computer. Updates are still working.

I have turned on UAC and updated Java to Version 6-30. Thanks again for every bodies help.
At the present time updates are working but sometimes it will for a few days and then I get that same damn code.
Keep Java updated and UAC on!

Will do and thank all that helped. I had UAC off while I was fighting this motherboard and never thought to turn it back on.

I've found before doing any MS updates is to use TFC ... download TFC by Old Timer TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forums and save it to your desktop.
Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista/Windows 7 right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean.

TFC (Temp File Cleaner) will clear out all temp folders for all user accounts (temp, IE temp, java, FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari), including Administrator, All Users, LocalService, NetworkService, and any other accounts in the user folder. It also cleans out the %systemroot%\temp folder and checks for .tmp files in the %systemdrive% root folder, %systemroot%, and the system32 folder (both 32bit and 64bit on 64bit OSs). It shows the amount removed for each location found (in bytes) and the total removed (in MB). Before running, it will stop Explorer and all other running apps. When finished, if a reboot is required the user must reboot to finish clearing any in-use temp files.
This is a very small application, but it works 'big time'
