    I've never heard of the IRST drivers inflicting that sort of damage - but it's certainly possible.

    Perhaps the version posted at Foxconn driver support for that model of motherboard was outdated or something, anyway, after the clean install, and not reinstalling the rst drivers anymore got the computer up and running flawless.

Windows 7 Update "Service Not Running" Error

I went to try to run some updates since I have not done so in a little while, and I kept getting an error saying "Service not running". I tried the microsoft fit program, but that did not work. Upon further investigation I found that most of the update files (the .dll) were no longer on my machine....
