I asked you to try installing the update from the standalone installer, also - it appears from your earlier post that you again attempted to install it from Windows Updates.
Please download the file from here - http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...ng=en&id=27033
once downloaded, double-click or Run the file.
What EXACTLY happens, and what error message is produced?
    the link doesn't work

OK - now go to the Installed Updates listing, and double-click on that failed update (it should be at the top of the list, by default) What is the error message?

Niemiro appears to be conspicuous by his absence lately - which is a shame as he's the expert on a tool you may need to use soon.

Start by running the fixits 50202 and 50123 -
How to fix MSI software update registration corruption issues
    and
How do I reset Windows Update components?
(ignore the warnings about being th ewrong OS - and Close the initial offereing of the tool, as you need to download it so you can run it properly)
With 50202, run it in Normal mode only for the moment

    reboot after using each tool

then try installing the standalone again - if it installs, great, if not then please doubleclick on the latest entry in the Update History, and tell us what the error message is this time.
