    Failed to install updates...

    Hi fellow windows 7 users. I am stuck in a very bad situation. I had done a clean install of windows 7 a few days ago on my laptop and set the updates to automatic. It installed few updates and then asked for restart and successfully installed those but now its stuck.
    It has 94 updates pending including SP1 it installs and asks for a restart for finishing but after restart it says that it failed and reverts all the changes.

    I tried Microsoft's fix it tool but that didn't fix it. Then I tried system update readiness update and manually installed it but even after that updates fail to install.
    Is there any way I could solve this?

    The error which windows update shows are

    Error= 800B0100
    Error 643
    Error 80092004

    Try this open CMD.exe (as admin) and type SFC/SCANNOW and report back

    Have you tried "Let me fix it myself" (manually fixing)? Error code 0x800B0100 when using Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updates

    Re Error Code 0x800B0100

    * Have you a System Restore Point created prior to any problems you are now experiencing that you could roll back to?

    * Have you checked in Event Viewer ?

    Start - Event Viewer - Windows Logs - System & Application.
    Check for any red error messages to do with each KB problem.

    *What is listed { as regards your problem} in Windows Update - View Update History.

    *Clean out App data / local / temp.

    Start - Run - type in %temp% - ok - organize - select all - organize - delete { note you may be asked to skip some - that is ok}

    * I noted you said you ran The System Update Readiness Tool. (SURT).

    Re your update settings -

    * I suggest you change them to notify you but let you choose when to download them.
    * Do a few at a time only rather than "oodles" at once.

    * Always make sure you have a current system restore point prior to downloading anything.

    FYI.
