Windows 7 service pack 1 update problem

Hi guys I have a problem for a while now i cant install sp1 update for windows 7, I have windows 7 64x Ultimate. I tried running System Update Readiness tool and SFC scan but nothing seems to work. I would re-install the windows but my DvD rom doesn't work... I even tried making an Image of windows 7 with service pack 1 on my laptop to try and update my pc via that image file but it wont upgrade... I really dont know what to do, any way i can fix this or is there some other way i can install my windows without using a dvd rom. Here is the log from System Update Readiness Tool.

How much space do you have left on your hard disk?

SP1 is quite greedy and requires at least 5G of free space before it even entertains the idea of installing it.

yes but it seems there is just 1 little part of the update that doesn't want to install "KB(976932) 73,6 MB - 832,6 MB"

Try to install it directly, bypassing Windows update.

Download the package you need from here. Sometimes that works when Windows Update fails.

Download: Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

ok provided that your 41.8GB of free space is on the C drive then the only other thing i can think of is its an isue with the language packs.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Region and Language > Keyboards and Languages > Install/Uninstall Languages > Uninstall display languages. Then click EVERY language there, except English. Then uninstall. This process will take about 1 hour, maybe longer.

Reboot after this and go back to your Windows update and try again.
If it installs successfully you can then return to control panel and re-add all the languages if you wish.

You need the 903.2 MB package from that link---the next to last one listed. Ignore the others.

I know nothing about the WUSA error.
