In fact I have that from MyDigital and I have it burned to a bootable DVD, Home Premium 64-bit SP1.
It was done last October.
But, I thought that I would have lost all my installed programs and personal files if I used the DVD. Personal files could be backed up to external drive, but I would still have to re-install all the 3rd party programs.
Am I wrong ?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

No, you are right. I meant to get the DVD so for future installs, you are already at SP1, once the install is complete. Others have given links to the full SP1 file. I have that downloaded to a flash drive, but I don't ever install it until I can get SP1 to show in Windows Updates. Then I install it alone, reboot, and then go back to running Windows Update.

I remember discussion about this when SP1 came out but I don't know if there was consensus.

If a repair disk was created (in my case through Windows Backup & Restore) prior to SP1, should a new repair disk (again through Win B & R) be created and will it contain SP1?
