You cannot remove all Windows updates at once. And some updates cannot be removed at all. Why do you want to do this?

LMiller7, I suspect our friend's Windows 7 ran afoul of one or two WUs that went down like Castrol Oil rather than Castor Oil. I had something similar happen to me - fixed via a restore of a recent OS partition full image backup.

As a quick check dissable Norton, see if its works then, before you re-install.

Try to uninstall and re-install camera software.
    Re-boot and try again.
Security updates never overly effected hardware.

@ mort101. You need to keep in mind that if you do a Windows reinstall you will have to run all the updates again & that can takes a long time.

Then you will have to reinstall any software programs that you have as well, including your web cam. So you need to give a reinstall serious thought. If you don't have activation codes for other installed software, they will not work.
