Please download and run the System Updates Readiness Tool (SURT).

Download: System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821) [August 2011] - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

SURT is designed to solve problems that prevent you from installing updates.

According to Microsoft: This tool is being offered because an inconsistency was found in the Windows servicing store which may prevent the successful installation of future updates, service packs, and software.

Yes I will JMH. I coudn't generate the error code in my laptop coz I dont have internet in my room. Instead I took a PNG file of the 2 items that I couldn't update which are making error codes.

I'll post the error codes later when I go online with my laptop.

By the way JMH, you mentioned updating drivers.

How can I update CHIPSET & MoBo drivers? This is my Specs by the way:

How about the BIOS? Does it need a driver update too?

I can't update TURBO BOOST driver and INTEL RAPID STORAGE TECHNOLOGY. It just kept on saying that the drivers are up to date.

I just did the 1st SFC /SCANNOW from an elevated CMD. It said that It found some corrupted file and that it will be fixed after a reboot. So i rebooted then this is how my Desktop looks like now:

    Error with SP1 windows update-basic-black-theme-removed.png

I used a Windows 7 Basic Black modified theme before and after the reboot it removed the theme. Even if I change to an AERO theme the visuals stay the same. What should I do with this?
