    Windows 7 SP1 failing to install - Code 80092004

I've been trying to install SP1 for Windows 7 x64 professional and I have come up empty-handed.

I've tried everything from installing it with a downloaded version to running the System Information Tool update, and none of it fixed the problem.

The "get help with this error" doesn't come up with this code.

Please help as I believe this is the reason why my windows explorer is having issues not refreshing as well.

Please download and run the CheckSUR tool - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821 - and attach teh CheckSUR.log file to your response.

Well that idea was a bust - no problems found (I see you'd run it a few times previously)

Please run SFC /SCANNOW from an elevated command prompt, and attach a copy of your CBS.log file to your response..

I will upload it when I run it.

I've ran that before too. I believe the words were "your files are corrupted, windows can't repair them, you're screwed". Of course, I'm paraphrasing here.
