    Well, better I find out now rather than after I have installed office and other software. At least I have a legal copy of that. Purchasing a legal copy here (of Windows 7) will also cost less than going back to South Korea and getting a legal copy from the dealer.

    Thank you very much for all your help. I don't think it was all a waste of time because I have learned a lot trying to sort all the problems out. Always useful when negotiating around minor problems.

Windows Update = #elementmoduleheadertext#
in Windows Updates & Activation

Had a bad SP1 issue and ran the visual basic script that apparently fixed that but now Windows Update only shows #elementmoduleheadertext# and a blank window when I open it I have tried multiple MSWU fixits and nothing seems to be working is there anything else I can do for this? thanks!
