That's normal - the results were save in the file, rather than printed to the screen.
just look for the file C:\Windows\System32\servlist.txt and attach it to your reply
[SC] EnumQueryServicesStatus:OpenService FAILED 1060:
The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
Is that all that's in the file??
In that case you ran it from an ordinary Command Prompt - not an Elevated one.
Try again in an elevated command prompt, and attach the file to your response.
OK, it turns out that the specifier doesn't seem to be needed - so use this
Please paste the Command prompt window contents (or a screencap of it)Code:SC<space>QUERY<space>>servlist2.txt
the file will be found in the System32 folder as
C:\Windows\System32\servlist2.txt
Dont worry guys i fixed it! all i had todo was install service pack 1
Well done! - I *may* have thought of that one, but probably wouldn't have suggested it, as installing SP's can make problems worse, rather than better.
Good Luck!
(Thanks for coming back to let us know)
That's great news.
Thanks for the update.
