i'm using Win 7 ultimate 32 bit OEM DVD
(i just want to mention something, i notice that even some of the most expert users that i met don't know that OEM dvd can be reinstalled even on other pcs as long as it only in one computer and as long as the user inform MS via the phone, aside from that OEM is Normal installation disk that have the SAME files that
    retail version have)

if you need more information just ask : o

well that may explain why some of the optional updates are missing for you, Home Premium versions have less optional updates like langs updates, However this update suppose to be included there (my brother laptop have Home Premium and had this update)

it a optional update , did you installed optional updates as well?

    Hi,

I'm not sure that is correct : OEM installations are tied to specific hardware, more specifically the motherboard. If You installed an OEM on a different PC than the one it came with, then your Windows would not activate.

i just happened to replace my mobo last week and had no issue, windows recheck my key and was activated without issue, also i installed this OEM version before on other pcs, as long as it was in one pc at a time and i informed MC via the phone the windows was activated without a issue.

Is this factory OEM you're referring to, or retail OEM version?

Under the EULA OEM is locked to the first mobo installed upon.

Or are you referring to the Reinstallation DVD which comes with some factory OEM computers, and an ability to use it like a normal installer although one must also provide a retail key?

thanks i will try it later, the only issue that i have at the moment is memory issues, the "power saving" issue was solved by deleteing update ‏KB2607576, the rest of the issues that i mention are issues that either happened to me long ago and were fixed allready or issues that other users having.

i don't opened this thread in order to help my issues, i opened it to warn other users because i saw that i don't was the Only one who had these issues
