Need help in Windows Update Error windows 7 SP1 800B0100

Ive install Windows readliness tool/ hot fix(KB947821) and ran it suceessfuly but i still recieve this errror massage.

i read previous threads in this forum that their problem will be solve if the post CBS Sur Log. here and to replace files manualy. heres mine. Thanks in advance. been trying to fix this issue, and tried sources from google, reinstalled my OS twice. rename folders, close firewall, uninstall anti virus. sfc /scannow. everything. No avail. Please help.

ps/ im a PC rookie.

Hello rocky and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm not a check sur log expert. Until one arrives, a couple of questions please that might help solve this problem.

You say you've reinstalled your operating system twice. From where did you get your install media? Any chance it's corrupt? You say you've already run the System Update Readiness Tool. I'm assuming you ran the correct version. Microsoft also has an automated Fix it tool that might help.

Fix the problem with Microsoft Windows Update that is not working

Could you describe how you're trying to install the updates? All at once or a few at a time? When are you trying to install the updates? Immediately after installing the operating system or some time later after you've installed other programs, utilities, applications, etc?

Unfortunately our real CheckSUR expert appears to be unwell, and has been for a while (Richard? how are you?)

He's really the only one with the knowledge to actually fix the problems (which are many) in your logs.

You say that you've done reinstalls - what type of reinstall, using what procedure?

What's the chance that you messed around with permissions?

Other avenues to pursue are: picking a restore point prior to any changes you made and then seeing if the problem is gone
and another is
Have you validated your Win 7?

I ask because a non-genuine Win 7 or a non-validated version will not be happy when you try to install SP1.

Another question, had you installed all of the updates which one would have normally installed prior to SP1.

If all has failed, then please use this procedure to 100% guarantee that your Win 7 is updated correctly.

Win 7 is not eXPired and you don't 2nd guess microsoft, but rather install everything.

UPDATING YOUR WIN 7
ASSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE ALL UPDATES
WIN | type WINDOWS UPDATE | ENTER |
Change settings (left-hand column) |
checkmark all four of the boxes | OK button

Approve any dialog boxes presented. Let Windows install any update features.

WIN is the key with the Microsoft flag on top.

INSTALL CRITICAL UPDATES
Check for Updates (left-hand column)
Install ALL critical updates.
Restart your computer (even if not prompted)

Repeat this procedure until there are no more critical updates.

DO NOT TRUST the “Windows is up to date” in center of dialog. until you see that TWICE IN A ROW!

INSTALL IMPORTANT UPDATES
Use the “critical update” procedure until all important updates are installed.

INSTALL OPTIONAL UPDATES
Use the “critical update” procedure until all optional updates are installed.

Under Optional updates you will be presented with a list of about 34 language updates.
You can hide those updates so that aren't continually notified of those updates. When you click on 34 optional updates are available, then you
a) highlight all of the language updates,
b) right-click anywhere in the highlighted list.
c) click on Hide Updates,
d) OK button.

UPDATE GOLDEN RULES
Install ALL, yes, ALL updates.
This is Win 7 and not Vista or XP (eXPired).

UPDATE IS HUNG –TAKING FOREVER
Hung is very doubtful unless you interrupted updates.

CTRL + SHIFT + ESC key combo will pop-up the Task Manager.
Lo and behold, Windows Update is still running!

You hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys.
While holding them down, tap the ESC key once.

FWIW....
SP1 will install on unvalidated systems - It will even install on systems activated using a Loader (breaking the Loader in the process) or RemoveWAT (again, breaking the activation)
I haven't tried installing it on systems showing as non-genuine for any reason other than being over the grace period, but as far as I am aware there is no problem.

Thank you for the swift reply.

1) ive tried the windows fix tool but it does not help.
2) i reinstalled wind7 by dvd/cd
3) i ran system readliness tool with the correst version x86/ 32bit windows 7
4) the first few updates i ran in bulks like 100+ and it all went smoothy. after wind7 sp1 showed up, because ive experince it (reason why i reformat), i maintain at just trying to install the sp1. It got stuck at 33% and the error 800B0100 shows up.
5) Its been about 3 weeks since i install windows, at the brink of giving up the sp1 issues since it feels like its never gona be solved.
6) validation process? not sure. if i view control panel/ system/ windows is activated No: ****OEM****
7) Dual booting, Nope

For the expert of the CheckSUR, for he is unwell at the moment, may god bless him for his speedy recorvery. Im not in a serious problem since im still be able to run windows. So til than i guess i've got tweak around here and there and hope for the best.
