You don't have to gather anything for phone activation and I am speaking from personal experience. You already have a Product Key and you are well aware of the history of your machine from the day that you purchased it.

On phoning Microsoft Rep shall ask you a few questions that you can easily answer and if he is satisfied he shall activate your OS, and if not shall tell you the further course of action to take.

But even at this stage I would strongly recommend downloading the ISO to make a clean install and then phoning Microsoft for activation if it doesn't activate on the Net.

Circumventing or working around problems is also a solution to the problems and gives you another type of learning experience.

Should I do the phone activation?
And what do I need to gather together before doing the phone activation, if I should?

    Licensing Data-->
    C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs(1131, 5) (null): 0xC004F012

This problem is often the result of corruption of the licensing store

Please first try recreating the Licensing Store.
    Recreate the Licensing Store
    1) Click Start button.
    2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
    3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
    4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
    5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
    6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
    7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
    8) Type: net start sppsvc
    9) Type: slui.exe
    10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Reboot and Post back with a new MGADiag report

edit - sorry - I didn't notice that you'd already changed the Key to your COA Key successfully - this simply needs activating by telephone.
    telephone activation (operator calls)
    Click on the Start button
    in the Search box, type
    SLUI 4
    and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you

Yep - I'd agree that the report looks good.

Just by way of a check, please go to www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate and see what happens. You should be offered MSE and IE9 (you don't need to take either) if it passes - or you'll get a snotty message if it fails.

    Yep, offered MSE and IE9
Hope the problem doesn't come back!

If you happen to be knowledgeable in that field, I have another thread in the General Discussion about my Hard drive, but thanks for all your help with this Noel and Wanchoo!
