    win 7 pro build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine please help


    my win 7 pro is oem software bought from tiger direct when i built system about 1.5 yrs ago ran fine no problems about 2 months ago blew hard drive and reloaded everything all good activated and updated then build error came on above clock can anyone help called ms and they say they dont know thanks

    I don't know how to read that but I do know Windows has this built in.
    Start Orb and type in SLUI and tick on it.

    Open an elevated command prompt and do a SFC /SCANNOW. Reboot and let it scan for and fix missing or corrupted files. After it completes, run it again - if more files are found, repeat until no more files are found. Then, try to activate it again.

    The system shows one of the signs of having had RemoveWAT installed.
    Please check your WIndows\System32 folder - is there a file (not a folder) called slmgr.vbs present?

    Please run the following command from an elevated command prompt...
    DIR C:\Windows\system32\slmgr.*
    copy and paste the results to your reply.

    after i run sfc scannow it found bad files and repaired them ....yes the file slmgr.vbs is present

BUT THE QUESTION IS WHY DO I NEED TO KEEP VALIDATING WHEN U RIGHT CLICK MY COMPUTER AND I CAN SEE WINDOWS IS VALIDATED AND ACTIVATED AND THE HOLOGRAM IS ON THE RIGHTSIDE AS GENIUNE..WHEN I GO TO WWW.SUPPORT.MICROSOFT.COM/PAG OR WWW.SUPPORT.MICROSOFT.COM/CZ IT SAYS ON BOTH THOSE SITES THAT I AM ACTIVATED AND VALIDATED

    What browser did you use for validation? use IE in preference, or Chrome at a push. You MUST allow signed ActiveX controls.
    What security software do you have installed?
    If you're using something like SpyBot's TeaTimer, disable it and see if that helps.
