Blue screen 'windows not genuine' after copy to SSD

    Howdy folks.
I bought a 128GB Samsung SSD to use as my boot drive. I have 2 500GB HDDs, 1 is the boot drive, the other has just program installs and data. I installed the SSD and copied the boot drive to the SSD with Norton Ghost 15 (provided with the SSD). It appeared to copy properly. I unplugged the 2 HDDs and rebooted (so the SSD would be recognized as drive C:).
Boots, I log in, says 'preparing desktop' for about 30 seconds and then goes to the light blue screen with the 'windows not genuine build 7600' in the lower right.
I've done searches for solutions and none seem quite right for my situation. I plugged the other drives back in and changed the boot order in the BIOS so I can boot from the original bootable drive. Should I wipe and recopy the SSD?
As anyone, I'd hate to have to do a fresh install and reload everything. I tried booting the SSD with the windows disk and tried the 'Repair' option to no avail.
    Any thoughts or suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

    badkarma,
    Welcome to SevenForums.

We have tutorials, however, before madly and wildly recommending a tutorial for you, would you please carry out following:

HOW TO POST A SNAPSHOT OF DISK MANAGEMENT DISPLAY
    Run disk management:
    WIN |
    type DISKMGMT.MSC | ENTER
This method gives you a display without the unneeded navigation pane.
WIN=key with Microsoft logo on top.

Maximize the output of Disk Management:
Maximize the output of Disk Management:
    ALT-Spacebar key combo | X key (selects Maximize) |
Drag the field separators (such as between Status and Capacity) to show entire field.

    Make a snapshot:
    WIN |
type SNIPPING | ENTER | New
Drag the cursor around the area you want to snip.
File | Save as | select save location and name | Save

    Post the snapshot:

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
    - **in your own thread**, please
Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

    Noel and Karl,
I retraced my steps in cloning the drive and now all is well. No magic, I just followed the wrong part of the instructions (didn't scroll down far enough).
    Thank you
