Bootable USB for Windows Server 2012

Hi I downloaded the .iso of windows server standard 2012. I was told to use the windows 7 usb dvd download tool but when I browse to the .iso of windows server standard 2012 and try to load it. It says that "the selected file is not a valid ISO file. Please select a valid ISO file and try again." I cant figure out why it is doing this but is this a common problem? are there alternatives tools that can put windows server 2012 standard onto a bootable USB drive because my server has no dvd drive, just a cd and USBs. Please HHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!

Poweriso free ( unregistered ) version seems to work very well.

PowerISO - Create, Burn, Mount, Edit, Compress, Encrypt, Split, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive

If you d/l from there , it just runs as the free version.

You might want to uncheck the toolbars it offers during installation - well the developer has to get some kind of income.

A simple straight forward program to create bootable USB pendrives I use and recommend is Rufus Rufus - Create bootable USB drives

Another one the latest and touted to be the ultimate is WiNToBootic.

WiNToBootic - the ultimate Windows 7 USB Boot Disk Maker (can be used for Server 2012 too)

The ultimate Windows 7/8 USB Boot Disk maker ? - looks like!

If you have any problems with any of the bootable USB creators, your downloaded ISO may be corrupt. Redownload the ISO and try. Better if you can find the hash and check the downloaded ISO.

    That's odd.

If you bothered to get poweriso - browse to the iso - it will say at the bottom of poweriso window if it is bootable.

That function is specially for making bootable usb from windows installation .iso
