I booted up my computer today and I saw that it said this copy is not genuine, even though it never said that in the past few years!

    Where shall I start?

Your WIndows Key was stolen even before WIndows 7 launched - and blocked immediately.
You have a hacker's Activation Exploit installed to try and fool the system.
You have a retail motherboard attempting to maquerade as an HP one.
The Key is for a Lenovo machine.........

Give it up, and install a legal copy of Windows.
