You appear to have a Retail motherboard - but the Key you are using is one a major manufacturer's machine.
The problem has occured becaused you (or at least someone) has used a hack to isntall and 'activate'the Key.

You cannot safely make this current installation genuine.

For what version and edition of Windows is the machine licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?

Let me change my mind on this one.....!

You have a machine with an Activation Exploit installed - such a machine can never be safely made genuine without a full reformat/reinstall.

Your machine appears to have been manufactured between the time when Windows 7 went RTM and when it went to GA - which is fair enough.
The problem is that someone has installed an Exploit to force acceptance of the Product Key. The system has discovered this, and flagged the non-genuine status.

(A subtle difference from my previous response - but a significant one!)

We need to know the details (apart from the actual Key itself) on the COA sticker on the machine's case, to be able to properly advise the solution.
