    I suggest talking to Microsoft about this, then if they can't solve it, contact the computer manufacturer.
    This "windows is not genuine" notification - does it affect you? Like, does it interrupt movies/games, etc etc, or does it just tell you and you can close it or something?

    You need to talk to M$, your Manufacturer, use Linux, or buy Windows 8 for 40 bucks in a few weeks All I can come up with.

    Did you recently flash the BIOS. I'm no expert on this but it looks like your OEM-SLIC BIOS table is missing or corrupt.
    v This doesn't look right v

    OEM Activation 2.0 Data-->
    BIOS valid for OA 2.0: no, invalid SLIC table
    Windows marker version: N/A
    OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: N/A

    I'm thinking it should be something like this

    OEM Activation 2.0 Data-->
    BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes
    Windows marker version: 0x20001
    OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: yes

    OEM-SLP activation looks for a SLIC table in the BIOS, if its not there, or the info in it doesn't match the certificate file, activation fails.

    Yeah, there is something fishy going on here, I also saw "Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 103 Blocked VLK". Where did you buy this laptop from? Does it actually have a COA sticker for Windows 7 Home Premium on it?

    Can I ask where you bought this? From a genuine shop like Curry's pc work ect or like new off eBay store or second hand from somewhere/someone?
    The case may be any of these.
    1) The computer has a virus.
    2) The seller just placed a win7 disk in the computer and skipped the product key part.
    3) The seller May of copied the boot drive and is using your copy of windows and left you with the 30 days.
    4)Your maby reading the 0 and O wrong?
    If its 2/3 you need to contact Microsoft with the online live chat and find out what's happening.
    If they ask you for the product key you will have to give it to them. Cheers bus

    Please ignore the previous posters.

    The problem is that your system is unable to properly read the BIOS SLIC table that should be present in the system to be able to self-activate the OS.

    You need to change the Product Key to the one on the COA sticker on the machine's case, using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System properties page.

    You may need to activate by phone.

    If your on Build 7600, then you could perhaps go to build 7601 (SP1)... then you'll have to activate within 30 days?

    Installing the SP does not reset the activation clock.

    I hadn't noticed before - sorry - that you said you'd already tried chenging the key - what is the EXACT error message when you try now?

    ....and what version and edition of Windows is quoted on the COA sticker?
