I've tried everything and i'm about ready to ditch Windows all together. This is getting ridiculous. First MS won't let me use my key to re-activate a fresh re-install of Win7 Ultimate, so i have to use this crappy broken Enterprise version from my school. It gives me 100 errors every time i sit down to use it. Right now it's launching 100 windows of the same error saying "Duplicate Free Memory operation." Along with plenty "Windows has encountered a validation error" for every program i open. This is absolutely infuriating.

Also, neither have i, it shouldn't be saying i'm up to date when i know i'm not. There should be TONS of updates ready to download and install. Nothing works, and this is a fresh freaking install.

    Hi,

Whats the problem with the Ultimate? Try activating it by phone. If its legitimate, Microsoft won't have any issue with it.

    Activate Windows 7 by Phone

I tried that, when i called for help with it, the rep told me i had to purchase a new key because i had used the one i gave him. Despite explaining that of course i've used it, it's for the computer i re-installed Ultimate on. He kept on insisting that it doesn't matter an activation key is a one time use thing and i must purchase another.

    Hi,

Was this for an OEM (pre-installed Windows) or a retail Windows one bought from a store?

I built the computer myself, put Win Home Premium on it, later got the Ultimate upgrade, quite some time later it got horribly corrupted and absolutely flooded with viruses. So at that point i decided to do a fresh install. Key wouldn't work, MS wouldn't help me, then i went to Win8 and it ruined my computer even more, then i tried this crappy piece of junk Enterprise. Which is exactly why i'm getting fed the hell up with Windows.

Calm down a second, we'll work it out.

Where did you purchase the Home Premium and Ultimate Upgrade from?

Don't remember where i got it originally. That was quite some time ago. Pretty sure it was from a retail store, and the upgrade, i don't have the slightest clue as to how i even upgraded i just remember it was Ultimate x64 until i wiped it.

OK. When you upgraded, do you remember how you activated the installation?

    Windows OS version: 6.1.7601.2.00010100.1.0.004
    Build lab: 7601.win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850
I must admit, I've never seen a debug build of Win7 (let alone attempted to run MGADIag and WAT on one) - but essentially it should have all the same capabilities as the normal build, but with many more error-traps in it.

    What Anti-Virus are you using?
Your report indicates that the system is licensed and activated although, as Golden stated, the WAT Update isn't installed.

It's possible that your occasional notifications are being caused by a 'race condition' - either as a result of conflicts between the installed programs, or simply because of the fact that it's a debug build.

Unfortunately if this is a debug build, then there is no way to change that short of a reformat/reinstall - the bits are significanty different, to allow the extra processing required.

You may want to read more about it here... http://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4186

Offhand I don't know an easy way to tell if it's the debug build or not - I suspect that it may show in MSINFO32 in the System Summary, but I can't swear to it as I currently have no such build handy.

Sorry I can't be more specific than that!

Well this is definitely the debug version. After going back to the store page, it clearly says "debugged/checked version".
I thought that meant it would have a bunch of stuff fixed...not extra error messages popping up 24/7 and as broken as can be.

Also, i don't think it's the programs installed. I have only installed 3 programs on this clean install: AMD Catalyst (for obvious reasons) and Chrome. Because IE wouldn't update, and it kept crashing like crazy. Then of course AVG Pro.
