After calming down and thinking it through, i believe i figured out my problem. I just need to ditch the debug build. But with the activation problems with Ultimate i mentioned earlier, i believe the mix up was i have a key for Home Premium, then i have an upgrade "key" for Ultimate. I'm thinking maybe if i try to install just Home Premium and use my old key for Home Premium, that should work. Then hopefully can upgrade with my upgrade key back to Ultimate.

Now i have to just do a fresh-install again but this time with just Home Premium not this dang debug version.

    Alex,

    Reading this thread:

    Cannot activate Windows 7

I think you should try to install Ultimate from the correct ISO downloaded here:

Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life

and burnt to a DVD at 4x speed using IMGBURN. Then activate it using the upgrade key you purchased. If you have problems activating it, post a MGADIAG report for it, and we'll have a look at it.

    Regards,
    Golden

Well i'm about to do the fresh install, but i tried doing one with a Win7 Ultimate ISO. So this time, i'm trying a Win7 Home Premium ISO, loaded (the proper way) onto a flash drive. Even if i don't get Ultimate back, that's fine by me. I just want my fully functioning OS back.

I'll update how it goes once it's done.

It accepted by Home Premium key this time. So it seems i just can't use my Ultimate key, which is fine. My PC is updating like it should now, no error messages, and all drivers in tact.

You shouldn't be able to buy the debug version!
