ASUS Notebook - Genuine Windows but getting not genuine messages

    Hi

I have an ASUS notebook (U31F i5 with 4 GB mem) which until recently I used only occasionally. It has Legit Office 2010, but no CD/DVD drive. My desktop hard disk crashed in a big way so I am using the notebook as my main computer.

It has just recently started throwing up messages that my Windows Homw Premium (x64) is not genuine. It is gebuine OEM and activated (back when I got the notebook), and I have not tampered in any way.

I have had a look at some other threads on this forum on this issue, and so have dowloaded and run MGAdiag.exe, but to my inexpert eye, it appears to report everything OK.

I have pasted text in below, and would welcome more expert advice as to whther I have missed something, and if not, what should I do next?

    regards

    PB

Hello PBroad and welcome to the forums

Try changing your product key to the one found on the COA sticker on your computer.

Shouldn't be any need for that - teh installation is licensed and activated properly according to the report.

It was also properly validated on 10th Oct.

    @ PBroad

Are you still seing any notification?
If so, go to validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate and see what happens - post back with results and a new MGADiag report if it doesn't pass.

I couldn't see any issues in the log, so I was just posting that out of desperation

I know the feeling - I tend to do similar things as holding actions while I try and do research :)
