    Page cannot be displayed

    So i installed over 150 updates on this computer ( for the record this isnt my computer) and i start IE and it says page cannot be displayed. I'm really at my wits end. ive tried everything and im reaching out for help. please respond and share your ideas to help me. Thank you :)

    Hello and welcome ?Cashu sounds like the updates have had some sort of effect and by the by be careful re so reading your details around a but mate best left until asked - don't take offence I am just the wary kind so..

    Maybe a system restore may help - to before the updates.

    A good idea is to have the Microsoft readiness tool on board too mate as some updates are well for want of a better term "difficult" without it.

    Download: System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 Edition (KB947821) [September 2012] - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details fairly large download but worth having it.

    Thanks for the welcome and i take no offence. I will try your idea and this computer didnt have a restore point created. i know i should of created one before i started the update and thats my fault. I will try what you said and i will get back to you

    No probs Cashu now there should be a restore point somewhere in System tools try the system restore option and then click on the points indicated and see what comes up you are probably right the one listed will be the last but a try doesn't rake much.
