    Another suddenly Not Valid code 0x8004fe21


    Hi, I have a Lenovo SL510 with a SLP installation of Windows 7. It is around 18 months/2 years old and has been fine until recently. I suspect the root cause is an upgrade to the HDD using Acronis Easy Migrate (I have used this several times without any issue - even this one worked fine until the latest MS updates, now it's 'not genuine'). I have searched quite a few forums and conclude that each solution is pretty unique .... so I have run MGADiag :

    This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

    Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
    try downloading and installing them from here - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=21730

    (you want the iata_enu.exe download)

    Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.
