Service Pack installation failed with error code 0x800b0100.
OS is Win 7 Home Prem 64-bit. Cannot install SP1, and one of the .Net 3.5.1 updates (KB2656355 and KB976932). Get Error: TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE(0x800b0100). Have tried many of the suggs, but can't seem to lick this. After running SURT, looking at the CheckSUR.log, it appears that a third KB is mucking it up (KB2416471)??
Tried the sugg at How to fix errors found in the CheckSUR.log, dropping the appropriate .msu (KB2416471) WU file in the C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSUR\Packages folder, like it suggests, and re-running SURT, but the CheckSUR still indicates the same problems. Saw on this forum where many have had success by someone issuing zipped packs, but are specific to individual user's problems (I assume the specificity of the fix has to do with what is in the zipped file?). Hoping I might be as lucky .
Have attached the latest CheckSUR.log.
Also - not positive (it's a client's machine), but I believe this machine was in-place upgraded from Vista Home Prem to 7 HP. I think that may have something to do with it?? Shame on MS if that is the case.
Any assistance would be greatly... HUGELY appreciated!!!
