    Windows updates currently not running


    Re-installed windows via 3 disk Toshiba process back to out box default.
    When I check for updates and I have it on automatic I get currently not running.
    This is 3 days now so I know something is wrong

Windows 7 Updates - Service not running
in Windows Updates & Activation

I am trying to run Windows updates and I kept getting an error saying "Service not running". I tried the microsoft fix program, but that did not work. I have restarted multiple times at advisement of Microsoft Fix each time it says resolved and I still get error. Would be grateful for assistance
