Hello Roy and welcome to the forums

Thanks for following the first post instructions :) It makes my life a lot easier!

Could you follow all of the steps outlined on this page please:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509997

Do not follow steps #8 and #10. The SoftwareDistribution folder should never be touched (apart from in a few exceptional circumstances) :)

In Method 5 ,there is no PendingXmlIdentifier,NextQueueEntryIndex and AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving.
Method #9,#11 and #12 not work for my compter.

Can I clean uninstall the English pack and download it form the webside and than install it.
Or use commands to change my currently display language to Chinese frist.

    Okay, thanks for doing that.

Yeah, it's worth a try removing the language pack:

    Uninstall Update

    1. Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
    2. Click on Programs
    3. Under the Programs and Features header, click on View installed updates
    4. You will now see a list of your installed updates. Using the search box, locate the language pack you wish to uninstall.
    5. Double click on this update to uninstall it.
    6. Once you have done this, reboot your computer

    Hi Roy,

To be honest, I think your best bet is to reinstall Windows with an English ISO. You can download them from here:

Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life

It's all completely legal, and safe, so don't worry :)
