    Can't update or download anything

Hello, I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit. I am unable to update or download any software from websites. I just ran avast and have run malwarebytes and AVG and all have reported and removed affected files. But I still have the same problem. PLEASE HELP!!!
For example, I try to download the new adobe flash from the adobe site, I then hit run when prompted. It then gets stuck at retrieving the file until the following error appears..."Installation encountered errors Actionlist not found'
I try to update malwarebyes and receive the following, "An error has occurred. Please report this issue to our support team (include the content of all error message(s) and code(s) in your submission). PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (0,0, Host not found)
I can't even check for windows updates! Here's the message I get,
    [Error number: 0x8DDD0004]

The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. Take the following steps to try solving the problem:
    • Refresh the page.
    • In Internet Explorer, delete your Temporary Internet Files by going to the Tools menu and clicking Internet Options.
    • Close and then re-open Internet Explorer.

Finally, my Outlook also doesn’t work. I get the following error message:
Task email address - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The server name you entered cannot be found on the network (it might be down temporarily). Verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.'

In order to completely troubleshoot Windows validation & activation issues, please perform the following:

    1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. Run the tool, and then click 'Copy' - ignore any errors if they appear

    3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the validation tool here in your next reply

    Hi Bruhje,

The SURT has performed 8 file replacements which is good. Is Windows Update still failing? If so, with what error code?
