    Non Genuine 7601

I am having the black screen of death on some work pc's. These pc's were purchased NEW from Dell with windows 7 Pro licenses. Screen is black, there is no start menu, even when booting to safe mode. I can not open explorer.exe, command window, or run slui.

I feel like I have 50 ticking time-bombs in my office as this is now the 2nd pc to show this issue.

...I am trying a repair from the OEM disc

    CBS Log Attached.

This is from a brand new Dell 3010.

What has been done to the PC:

-Format PC with Dell provided OS disc.
-Install of our major programs (Lotus Notes, Office, Hyperion)
-Add to Domain and push policies.
    -run full updates.

After the last group of updates the pc reboots and has black screen of death. I ran my "fix" and it is working fine now. CBS.log is from this incident.

The log only has data from today - earlier data has been archived to the CBS.persist logs.

This happened today. So it should be in the log.

I can repeat this black screen of death with any new Dell Optiplex 390 or newer.

    *edit*
I found another log from today. It is 15MB. I will split it up and post it.
