i guess not. What i prefer is to reinstall windows and then update it, then create a system back up and then install other things. Free Backup Software for Hard Drive System Backup and Restore. Backup freeware for data backup and disaster recovery in Windows and Linux - EASEUS is a good backup software.

Open IE (not other browsers) and go to:
    Microsoft Windows Update

You will be prompted to install the activex plugin,
click on the yellow bar, and install the plugin.

Now you are presented with a search screen.

In the search box type: windows 7

Sadly you will still be presented with other OS's, but never mind that.

In the properties bar click on "products".
    This will sort the updates.

Now scroll down to windows 7 updates and on the right side you can click "add"

This will put the update in your basket.

After you have clicked them all , you can download them.

    Good luck.
