Computer rebuild, reactivation of Win7, error 0xC004E003

A month ago, I rebuilt my computer, with a new motherboard, CPU, RAM, cooling system and tower. I made a point of deactivating Win7 on the old motherboard just so that I wouldn't have this problem, but Windows won't accept the activation key that came with it. I know that OEM copies are only for one computer, but would I be able to call support and get it to activate on the new motherboard?

The installation is non-genuine - it has been done with a Dell Recovery disk, which is only valid for installing on Win7-based Dell machines, while your motherboard is a Retail one.

You cannot upgrade the motherboard on OEM-licensed machines without breaking the ability of the OEM_SLP Key to self-activate.
It also then may breach the terms of the license.
If you've never activated the Key from the COA sticker before, you may be lucky and be able to change the Key to that one using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System properties page, and activate that - you may have to activate by phone.
