    Windows 7 Enterprise build 7601 not genuine???


    My computer now says my windows is not genuine after an automatic updaye a few days ago. The screen saver is gone and screen is black. I have had this computer 3 years with no issues like this...what do i do??

    This OS is a 'volume license' edition of Windows. Do you belong to an organization that uses Enterprise, or did you download the 90 day 'trial'?

    I bought this computer from a guy that owns a store called PCDoctor in Main..i wanted a better computer to play wow and didnt want to pay best buy prices..I've had this computer for 3 years..It was shipped to me i live in Minnesota...=\

    I ordered this computer from The computer Doctor store..in another state...im confused as what i do i have had this computer for 3 years or more and its now just saying its not genuine?? what do i do??

    Contact him and tell him you want a genuine copy of Windows and if he doesn't comply then report him to Microsoft - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/howt...fr/report.aspx

    He is my ex boyfriends friend there isnt a chance in hell he will help me=(....what do i need to report him?? do i have to pay for a copy of windows or will it just say its not genuine forever? =/ i dont know much about this stuff...

    You could also point out that the FBI are responsible for software counterfeit reports in the US - so unless he wants a visit from them......
