Internet gets slow after windows updates failed to install
So, today I downloaded and installed some windows updates which I think important.
but, because of my internet connection was using USB modem, it seems that some of the updates failed to download and I stopped it. and then I installed the rest which successfully downloaded and logged back in. and there was a notification stated that two updates were failed to installed. but I ignored and continued to what I was working on.
and problem occurs. i noticed that my internet connection became slow. well, usually my internet is fast. at first, i thought the connection problem was because of the provider's bugs (usually when a problem shows up, it was all the provider's fault. i've checked the signal on the modem and they're no problem, so I know it wasn't the provider this time). but then i remembered the failure notice of the windows updates earlier and i became all suspicious (it's true - the more you know, the more you think. thanks to this forum, i learned a lot from here :)). here are the updates that were failed to install.

I decided to roll back to earlier system restore points (I regularly create my own system restore point) where before the updates were installed. I logged back in and tried my internet connection again, and... well, it seems to be working fine... for now. I still feel that my internet's still somehow not back to its full state yet.. well I can just feel it, usually when I surf through familiar sites such deviantart which is the best site to measure the internet connection for me. when I accessed this forum, too, it wasn't as fast as before.
so, was it true that the failure of the updates was the cause of my internet connection problems? also, I want to ask, even if I have rolled back to the restore point before the updates were installed, will the problem still occur? if so, is there a way to fix that problem?
i'm sorry if I did a mistake of the posting or I break a rule, I'm still new here, but I try my best to follow the rules, and thanks in advance for all your help.
