Geniune Windows 7 Saying Not Genuine

Is this going around at this moment in time?

I bought the computer brand new and followed some download a program and run mcbuilder.exe in cmd thing which didn't work.

Also my admin permission seems dodgy with one or two other programs (might not be related)

I can't even remove any program now come to think of it.

Either that or the add/remove programs is messing up.

    What's goin' on?

Where did you buy the computer? What Antivirus are you using? Does the computer have a windows key sticker somewhere on it?

In order to completely troubleshoot Windows validation & activation issues, please perform the following:

    1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. Run the tool, and then click 'Copy' - ignore any errors if they appear

    3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the validation tool here in your next reply

It's the build 7601 thing going around in the last few years.

I think I know what may have caused it now.

Adware Antivirus going on a deleting spree.

I put it the strongest and delete anything it suggests.

I never noticed the "go on online and fix it" bit on the popup box before I'll give that a try first.

Even though I bought my windows I'm gonna use WAT Fixer and Daz Windows Loader to fake my windows etc.

I did buy it makes it more aggravating.

^ That means diddly-squat. Follow instructions:

    2. Run the tool, and then click 'Copy' - ignore any errors if they appear

while I can't deny the simplicity and reliability of Daz, on Seven forums we do not condone the use of activation curcumvention tools.

that being said fixWAT may or may not work, but you should be able to reactivate by entering in the windows activation key located on a sticker somewhere on your computer.

I highly reccomend following Golden's instructions though.
