    windows 7 sp1 update fail


    hey guys! i tried updating my windows 7 service pack using windows update and i was told fail erro 800f0829. . . i did scf /scannow and it came with a report of some corrupt files and i was told it has been automatically repaired and that it will be effective at my next reboot. . . that i did and till now, it still didn't work. . . pls wat should i do next???
    my cbs folder is attached to my post. . . thanks

    my cbs folder is 115mb in size and the limite of zip files in this site is 8mb so am thereby finding it hard to u[pload the folder. is there anyway i can by pass this???

    still bigger than. . . the limit in this forum is 8.3o and ,y cbs zipped folder (without the cbs file) is 8.53mb. any more suggestion??

    This error is nothing to do with system files. You can not update your laptop when you are running on battery power because it is not a stable source of power. Plug your laptop into the mains and try again.

    You MUST zip/compress the folder - there's no way that itshould end up more than 8MB
    You should just have
    CBS.log
    CheckSUR.log
    CheckSUR.persist.log
    in the folder.
    What size is each file in the original folder?
